Tom Taylor... From BBC Drama Doctor Foster....And Updates.

More images of Tom at Wonderland HERE.
I tend to avoid most BBC tv dramas. I just think life is too short
and I've always got plenty to get on with. But the BBC's
recent drama Doctor Foster had me gripped.
The storyline clearly appealed to many tv drama fans as
it was the BBC's most watched Autumn season drama.
So if it's coming to your country then don't miss it.

The story revolves around a broken marriage, revenge and
a teenage son (Sixteen year old Tom Taylor...above) getting
caught up in the middle of all the chaos.

It was actually shown while I was away in Cornwall during
September so amazingly I've still to watch the final two closing
episodes. So when the time is right I shall enjoy them.

And now course this weekend sees the start of the long awaited
Figure Skating Season with Yuzuru Hanyu in action in Russia.
He did reasonably well to come 2nd in the Mens Short on Friday
just behind winner Nathan Chen.
The Men's Free Event takes place today (Sat) but of course thanks
to Eurosport British tv Channel, who frankly treat their customers
like shit, we wont be seeing the Free Event until they televise it
on Sunday.
At home we call that tv Channel 'Eurocrap.'

And on the subject of the Euro and the whole Brexit debate.
Why doesn't our British PrimeMinister simply walk away from the current
Brexit talks and refuse to pay a single penny to those unelected  and
corrupt nobodies in Brussels. Can't our PrimeMinister see that we are
just being blackmailed. We've paid enough money into the E.U.

Theresa May, hold your head up and walk away and tell that lot in
Brussels TO GET STUFFED! DO NOT PAY A PENNY.
SHOW SOME BRITISH BACKBONE.
WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER WEAK ASSED NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN.

Have not been blogging much this week as the last few days has
been chaotically busy here at home. I've been having some rewiring
carried out and all while I've been getting on with my Console
stereogram building project which is really coming on nicely now.
I'd say it's now three quarters finished.
On Friday the stereo record player arrived and it just fits perfectly
into the cabinet, right alongside the tv unit that I've also added in.
So for now I'm just lining parts of the cabinet with some nice plush
suede material. It's starting to look a treat.
Hoping to do a blog post on it very soon now, along with of course
a video.

  1. I hope we see the show here. It is not long automatic that we will see BBC drama on our ABC. There is some central Euro fund that Britain is obliged to pay before the split, but otherwise, the figures of what Britain may owe to the EC are absurd. What is the EU going to do? Re-assemble a Spanish Armada? The focus is on trade. It should be about people and what will happen to them if Brits are in Europe or Europeans in Britain.

  2. I think you'll enjoy Doctor Foster. Like I say I tend not to watch these normally dull dramas with middle aged middle class people who's stories I really don't care for. And they always feature tv actors, actors who never actually get movie rolls, but just work in tv. But this storyline seemed to touch the Brits. Maybe there's a lot of loveless marriages and bitter partners out there who identified with this drama. I know you'll enjoy it.

This whole Brexit thing drives me mad. Cant wait till next March when it should all finally be over... or is it March 2019???
I just cannot agree with this whole freedom of movement thing. Each country has it's own infrastructure. And ours is buckling under the pressure. No wonder our National Health Service is crumbling. It shouldn't be for Europe and the rest of the world
as you know we have what we call 'Health Tourists' that abuse the system. It should only be for British tax paying citizens.
We are quite capable to trade with the rest of the outside world. Europe isn't the centre of the world.
Brussels is just stretching this whole episode out, using financial blackmail, in order to put off other EU countries following suite. But it won't work. Other countries will follow soon when they see the UK standing proud and independent.

British politicians are all useless. They're only in it for themselves. They don't care about the people. When will someone come along and for once say NO.... No to anymore Foreign Aid squandering millions and NO to Brussels. When they do emerge then I'll vote for a political Party. And the quicker we see the back of Jeremy Corbyn, then the better. He is halting the Labour Party's progression. I can't even think why the young have been brainwashed into following him. They just don't seem to even know about his checkered past. Politicians are worse than undertakers and House Letting agents.

  3. Dark Tower was a nice movie. Tom held up his part in the film. He must have big feet. I noticed his gate forces him to bounce up as he walks. Might make a gif of it. Enjoyable film. Slightly Disney-ish.

    1. Neil, Haven't seen Tom in Dark Tower. But he does seem to have physically changed a lot
in just a year since then.

  5. Hi Cloosha, Yes this must be Suranne's best role. I remember her from Coronation Street.

    2. Hi Cloosha, Ah so you are Dutch.
It was a Dutch boy that once broke my heart..haha!
Regarding Suranne I've only ever known her from Coronation Street. Of course Soap actors are always returning to their old roles, that's if they haven't killed them off.
Looking forward to the last two episodes of Doctor Foster once I get some free time.
      Dee.

    3. I believe I saw once a piece of Doctor Foster. I'm sure I'm going to look it up, and yes, you're right: In Holland there are many good looking guys, so there's still a lot to choose!;)
