A Baby Elephant that loves to Cuddle and Play!

What an extraordinary video this is by Jono Du Perez. I don't see how
anyone would not be moved by it.
An American visitor on a trip to an Elephant Sanctuary in Northern Thailand
gets to play and roll around with a baby Elephant while amusing all
the onlookers.
Surely this must almost be equal to something like swimming with Dolphins.
Is it possible that this Baby Elephant was born at this Elephant Sanctuary
unlike many of the adult ones that were rescued and brought here
after being abandoned and treated cruelly, hence the Baby Elephant's
sense of fun and playfulness.

  1. We went to the elephant sanctuary in Kenya few years ago that took care of orphan elephants. The idea that anyone could shoot one of these wonderful creatures is just beyond comprehension. Thanks for this!!

    1. Tim, That must have been great, a Kenyan Safari holiday to see the animals in their own natural environment.

As with the cruelty inflicted on these great creatures you imagine it has got something to do with money.
But that Baby elephant sure looks happy, and unlike the adults is probably untouched by cruelty and trauma. Dee.

  2. What is this warning Dee? From acorns mighty trees grow. You can sort the real people out from the networkers down the track. I hope my comment is long enough.

Lovely video and by gosh that elephant must be heavy. Sadly many elephants in Thailand aren't treated well, but this one looks like it is having a happy childhood.

  3. Andrew, Of course one would'nt have so much fun and intimacy with a fully grown elephant. You'd probably get crushed. But they are well looked after.

Will e-mail you on the other matter if I can dig back and find your e-mail. I tend to get more mail regularly from other visitors and readers.
Currently finishing up after a month in the garden as the owners return anytime now.
