Yet oddly enough I never found the American Rock bands of the 1980's very appealing.
Bands like Bon Jovi, Van Halen or Guns and Roses. My allegiance was to the true masters
of Rock like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Hawkwind.
And so emerging a bit later was a British band called Judas Priest who didn't taste their first
real success until 1982 with their best selling album 'Screaming for Vengeance.'
The album also brought about their top selling hit 'You've Got Another Thing Coming' as
featured in the video above.
Lead frontman Rob Halford actually left the band in 1992 but rejoined 11 years later in 2003
which many said was inevitable. After all Judas Priest without Halford was like Queen
without Freddie Mercury or Deep Purple without Ian Gillan.
