HAPPY PLATINUM JUBILEE....BREAK OUT THE BUBBLY AND PUT OUT THE FLAGS

So later today we kick off four days of events and party's in honour of Queen Elizabeth II
who now celebrates 70 years as Monarch. Today and tomorrow many local communities
will be holding Street Party's and various celebrations as well as gatherings in local Parks with
many cities closing out with fireworks and lit beacons.

On Saturday there will once again be a Concert staged right outside Buckingham Palace with
thousands expected to line The Mall. And on Sunday The Platinum Jubilee Pageant takes place in
Central London where the procession will be lead by The Queen's Gold State Coach, the
very same one used for The Queen's Coronation in 1953.

And so later today I'll be looking in on one of our local events where there will be music, food stalls
and various other entertainment. And the evening will close out with a firework show and the
lighting of a Beacon.
It really doesn't seem like all this happened just 10 years ago when we celebrated The Queen's
Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

Above are a few gifs from the 2002 Golden Jubilee celebrations as well as
from the 2012 Diamond Jubilee.

Above is our Diamond Jubilee Celebration party table just 10 years ago in 2012,
the very same year I received a huge medical bombshell. But 10 years on and after a six
year recovery plan, I'm thankfully still here today.

Well if you happened to be about on the Streets of Central London on Tuesday morning
around 4.30 am, then you might have seen this. It's The Queen's Gold State Coach, the
very same one that was used on June 2nd 1953 for The Queen's Coronation. And the Coach
hasn't been seen for almost 20 years.
In the picture above, Palace staff are seen taking the Coach on a practice run in preparation for
this Sunday's Royal Jubilee Pageant, a two mile route through Central London, with
the Coach leading the Procession.
